​PennDOT is hosting several Contractor Summit sessions during the week of January 21-24, 2025, to provide education and training to industry partners regarding the Digital Delivery Directive initiative.  These sessions will focus on educating stakeholders, including contractors, fabricators, and vendors, on how transitioning to digital design and construction workflows will provide added benefit and gained efficiencies. The sessions will also include training on tools and software PennDOT is leveraging for this digital transformation. Each individual session will take place in a different location across the commonwealth to provide local opportunities to our contracting partners. 

The agenda for summits will include an educational perspective on how the industry and PennDOT are implementing digital delivery, provide an understanding of the digital delivery language and terminology, and identify the types of data exchanges that PennDOT will be providing to prospective bidders and partners. The second part of the workshop will include an in-depth and hands-on working session to explore 3D model navigation & viewing tools in the cloud-based software PennDOT is utilizing and how to leverage that information and data for bidding and construction purposes. These summits will help familiarize participants to PennDOT's new processes, ask questions, and provide an opportunity to gain hands on experience in a learning environment.​​

Each session offers  the same information and content, please register your firm for the session that best suits.  The first two individuals on your request will be registered, additional individuals will be added to a waitlist for the session. 

Sessions will be held from 8:30 - 3:00 at each location, check-in from 8:15 - 8:25.
