Corbett Appoints New Chairman to eHealth Partnership Authority
– Governor Tom Corbett today announced the appointment of a new chairman to the
Pennsylvania e-Health Partnership Authority − David F. Simon, executive vice
president and chief legal officer at Jefferson Health System, Inc.

his role at Jefferson, Simon is the chief legal, corporate governance
and government relations officer and is responsible for all system-wide payer
contracting and relations.
He is also president and CEO of the Accountable Care Organization of
Pennsylvania, a group of doctors, hospitals, and health care providers working
together with Medicare to deliver high-quality, coordinated care and spend
healthcare dollars more wisely.
has a distinguished career overseeing healthcare quality, administration and
regulatory affairs. He has served as director and secretary of the Pennsylvania
Healthcare Quality Alliance, member of the Pennsylvania MCARE Commission, and
as the former chief counsel of the Pennsylvania Insurance Department.

the Pennsylvania eHealth Collaborative, and works toward improving healthcare
delivery and healthcare outcomes in Pennsylvania by providing leadership,
strategic direction and investments in health information technology and health
